kirsten gooday Kirsten Gooday is Policy and Development Manager at Community Care Providers Scotland (CCPS), the national association of voluntary organisations providing care and support services across Scotland, where she takes a lead on policy issues including Single Outcome Agreements.  She has recently completed an analysis of all 32 SOAs from the perspective of voluntary sector social care service providers.

Kirsten is currently studying for an MSc in Public Policy at the University of Glasgow, with a particular focus on voluntary sector representation in local planning and participation in public service delivery.

CCPS exists to identify, represent, promote and safeguard the interests of voluntary sector and not-for-profit social care providers in Scotland, so that they can maximise the support they offer to the people who use their services. CCPS includes as members virtually all of the major providers from right across the spectrum of social care.  The combined membership of CCPS supports approximately 160,000 people and their families, and managed a total annual income in 2007-2008 of just over £1 billion, of which about 72% relates to publicly funded services.
