Ron Culley is Chief Executive of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), the largest Regional Transport Partnership in Scotland, covering 2.14m people, 42% of the Scottish population. He has held this post since SPT’s inception in 2006. Ron is also a board member of the British Transport Police Authority.
For the six years before that, he was Chief Executive of Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, responsible for the economic regeneration of Scotland's largest city. For thirteen years prior to that, Ron was Chief Executive of the award-winning local development company, Govan Initiative Ltd, voted 'Business of the Year' by Quality Scotland in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise sector.
