Fife Partnership Manager
Fife Council
Tim has lead responsibility for the work of the Fife Partnership – Fife’s community planning partnership. His role is co-ordinate the work of the partnership and to help ensure that its six strategic partnerships are at the forefront of work to deliver Fife’s community plan and single outcome agreement - both Fife-wide and within local communities.
He also manages Fife’s Community Safety Partnership and its joint agency teams, which operate from co-located premises at the Safer Communities Centre, Glenrothes. The Centre brings together staff from a range of Fife Council services, Fife Constabulary, Fife Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Fife and the voluntary sector to deliver a co-ordinated and targeted service across Fife.
He has extensive experience of developing partnership working at a strategic and neighbourhood level. He was previously Community Safety Manager with the City of Edinburgh Council and Lothian Regional Council. Prior to that, as Director of the London based Safe Neighbourhoods Unit, he helped to pioneer partnership approaches to neighbourhood improvement and crime reduction throughout the United Kingdom.
