Kieran Collins MSYP Print E-mail
kieran collins.jpg24 year old Kieran Collins MSYP is the current Chair of the Scottish Youth Parliament, having been elected to the position at the organisation’s June 2008 AGM.  As well as representing the young people of his Edinburgh South constituency, An Edinburgh native, Kieran has studied at Aberdeen and Edinburgh Universities, but is currently devoting most of his time to volunteering for the SYP.

Innovative use of technology in engaging with young people is one of Kieran’s passions and he is hoping to build on the SYP’s successes in this area, expanding further into social networking and vlogging.  Kieran’s political experience is not limited to his work with the Scottish Youth Parliament, he was also ‘Minister of External Affairs’ in comedian Danny Wallace’s hit BBC-show “How to Start your own Country”.
