gary cox.jpgGary Cox was appointed Head of the Scottish Government Licensing Team in May 2006.  He has responsibility for implementing the new Licensing Act and working with Ministers on the development of licensing policy in relation to both alcohol and knives.  

Prior to that Gary worked on various parts of the Scottish Executive’s Public Service Reform agenda, including the legislation which introduced proportional representation for the council elections, and the new remuneration package for councillors.
