Mary Sparling is the Lead Officer for HeadsUpScotland, the National Project for Children and Young People’s Mental Health.

She is on secondment from her substantive post of Headteacher of Lochgelly North School /Inclusion Officer in Fife.  Throughout her career in education Mary has worked in mainstream and specialist settings, both as a practitioner and as a manager.

She has a keen awareness of the challenges, and of the potential, associated with partnership working and is committed to a person-centred approach in relation to improving outcomes and experiences for children, young people and their families.
