Ros Micklem Print E-mail
Ros Micklem has been the National Director for Scotland of the Equality and Human Rights Commission since September 2007. She was Principal of Cardonald College in Glasgow from 1997.

During her time at Cardonald College she also took on a variety of external roles, including participating in the Scottish Executive’s Community Planning Task Force and chairing the West of Scotland Wider Access Forum for a year. From 2003 to 2005 she was a member of the Scottish Further Education Funding Council and co-Chair of its Learning and Teaching Committee.   In 2004 she was awarded the title ‘Britain’s Best Boss’ by the Working Families charity, in conjunction with Lloyds TSB, in recognition of her college’s good practice as a family-friendly employer.

As a board member of Lead Scotland and formerly of the GalGael Trust, she is also a keen supporter of the work of voluntary organisations in promoting justice and equality.
