Osama is Chief Executive of the Scottish-Islamic Foundation(SIF). SIF run a popular leadership programme for young Muslims training them how to be strong in their faith and how to engage as Scottish citizens. The foundation also organised the rally in George Square against the Glasgow Airport attack one week after the atrocity. It’s believed that this was the first Muslim public demonstration against Al-Qaeda anywhere in the world.

Osama was named as one of Scotland Top 100 commentators and opinion formers by the Scotsman and frequently commentates in the media on issues related to Islam and Muslims.
