Glyn Hawker is Scottish Organiser (Bargaining & Equal Pay) with UNISON, Scotland’s public service trade union. Glyn manages UNISON Scotland’s bargaining functions across all services and she has particular responsibility for equal pay. She was previously UNISON’s head of Health, and remains its lead negotiator.
Originally employed as a Community Development Worker, Glyn has been a Full Time Union Official for 16 years working for UNISON and one of its predecessor during this period. She came to Scotland from Middlesbrough where she worked for Cleveland Social Services Department as a Policy Officer and Manager of the Community Development Team.
She originally hails from south east London.
