Joe O'Donnell is the HM Chief Inspector of Prosecution in Scotland and is a Solicitor.

Prior to becoming the Chief Inspector of Prosecution Joe was for 27 years a member of the Procurator Fiscal Service holding posts in various parts of the country including being the Procurator Fiscal at Ayr and the Senior Assistant Procurator Fiscal at Glasgow.

The Inspectorate of Prosecution in Scotland produces a combination of Thematic Reports (usually in conjunction with criminal justice partners) and also Office and Area Inspections.  All reports are submitted directly to the Lord Advocate and published.
