Raymond was admitted as Solicitor Advocate in 2000 and has been a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Law Society of Scotland since 2004. He regularly appears for the defence in both High Court and Sheriff Court cases. He was also appointed as a part-time Sheriff in 2007.
He has been a senior partner of KW Law, (formerly Keegan Walker & Co) since 1997 and previously he was in a private practice based in Livingston, West Lothian since 1984.
Raymond was admitted as Solicitor in 1982. He trained in the Crown Office and was Procurator Fiscal Depute at Linlithgow and Glasgow between 1982 and 1984.
Raymond graduated from Strathclyde University in 1980.
