Rachael is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Family Law and as a Family Mediator. She is a Partner with Pagan Osborne, Solicitors in Edinburgh.

Rachael has had a keen interest for some time in the challenges facing those working within our legal system in relation to working with vulnerable witnesses; she was a member of the Lord Advocate’s Working Group on Child Witness Support in 2002 and latterly was involved in 2007 in the Scottish Executive (as was) Implementation of the Vulnerable Witnesses Act- civil sub-group.

Rachael is recognised as an expert on Family law in Scotland in the Legal Experts 2008 directory and also in the current editions of both the Chambers and Partners UK Guide to the Legal Profession and the Legal 500. She is the immediate past Chair of the Family Law Association - the organisation of nearly 400 family law practitioners in Scotland after having served on the committee for nearly a decade.
