I have been with the Witness Service covering Ayr and Kilmarnock Sheriff Courts since 2000 becoming Co-ordinator in 2004.  I joined the Witness Service just after the initial pilot projects had been evaluated and it was decided to roll out the Witness Service to every Sheriff Court and the dedicated High Courts in Scotland. 

It has been a very exciting process watching the Witness Service grow and develop throughout the country and now with the full implementation of the Vulnerable Witnesses (Scotland) Act 2004 I look forward to guiding my volunteers in their efforts to provide the best possible support and information service to witnesses attending court at all levels.
