Dr Mairead Tagg is a psychologist who has worked for Glasgow East Women’s Aid for the last 13 years, working directly with survivors and providing specialist training on issues relating to psychological trauma in adults and children.
She provides court reports in criminal and civil cases where domestic abuse is an issue, and is an associate lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian and Strathclyde Universities where she has been involved in the design and delivery of the first Scottish university accredited professional course on domestic abuse.
She lectures at both Tulliallan and Jackton Police Training Colleges and also has a private practice.
