Kim graduated as an SLT in 1988 and before her current post worked as an SLT in adult learning disability and as a project manager in Edinburgh.
Kim is the SLT behind the leaflet “Going to Court” first published by the Crown Office in 1995. Since 1999 Kim has worked as Scotland Officer for the RCSLT.
She is responsible for promoting the interests of SLTs and their clients in the Scottish government and parliament. Kim is currently leading a campaign, with partners, to improve provision for people with communication support needs throughout the justice pathway.
