Martin Ford Print E-mail
Martin Ford worked as a plant ecologist at the Scottish Agricultural College in Aberdeen before being elected to Aberdeenshire Council in 1999.  During his time at Aberdeenshire Council he became the chairman of Garioch Area Committee. From 2002 until April 2007 he was chair of the Council’s Scrutiny & Audit Committee.

Following the 2007 elections, he switched to being the chair of the Infrastructure Services Committee, a position he held until last December.

Martin lives in Aberdeenshire with his wife Gina.
