 John Edward was appointed Head of the European Parliament’s Office in Scotland in May 2003.
The European Parliament Office in Scotland aims to help increase awareness of the EP and its activities in Scotland (www.europarl.org.uk ).
Prior to that post, John was Senior Manager for Parliamentary relations in Scottish Enterprise.
From 1996 to 2001 John Edward was Environment Executive, then EU Policy Manager for Scotland Europa, in Brussels.
John Edward was previously an executive with The European Policy Centre in Brussels.
From 1994 to 1995, John was a intern in the European Commission’s Humanitarian Office (ECHO).
John Edward is a graduate of the University of St Andrews and the University of Glasgow (M.Phil.) and attended the Università per Stranieri, Siena.
