Michael Davis has been Managing Director of the Centre for Enterprise (CFE) since 1999 and is a leading contributor to skills and enterprise national policy. CFE is a not for profit company, set up in 1997 with an executive team drawn from leading economic development and social policy contributors to bring practical insights to policy questions within a framework that ensures independence and integrity.
Michael has led research and policy assignments for DIUS (formerly DfES), DBERR (formerly DTI), the LSC, Ufi Ltd, Regional Development Agencies (RDA) and various national groups. He is Chairman of Leicester College and the Chairman of Lastolite, a manufacturing business for the imaging industry.
