jonathan fair120.jpgJonathan joined Homes for Scotland in September 2007 with the specific remit of delivering a range of key outwardly facing improvements and initiatives within the organisation; all in line with its recently launched Five Year Strategic Plan. He has direct management responsibility for the nine-strong secretariat team based in Edinburgh. He is an active member of the Scottish Government Housing Supply Task Force and was also one of the expert panel responsible for drawing up the recently published “Low Carbon Building Standards Strategy for Scotland” (Sullivan Report).

Prior to joining Homes for Scotland, Jonathan was Director of BRE Scotland for four years with overall responsibility for its business activities, whilst delivering key consultancy and technical advice for public and private clients. Latterly he was also appointed to the Executive Board of BRE, working across the UK, where he reported directly to their Chief Executive.

Jonathan has over 19 years' experience in the construction and property development sectors working for private practice and industry. His background, primarily in Project Management / Design, has been instrumental in delivering significant infrastructure, capital developments and PFI schemes.
