 Susan Dalgety has over twenty years experience in communications and politics, both at a national and a local level.
She was chief press officer for the Rt Hon Jack McConnell MSP during much of his term as First Minister. She then enjoyed a spell as the Scottish Government’s International Communications Manager, which included several months working in Malawi on a number of communication projects before joining Holyrood Communications in August 2007.
Other highlights of her career to date include chief writer for the Edinburgh Evening News, deputy leader of Edinburgh City Council and Managing Editor of the Wester Hailes Sentinel, Scotland’s leading community newspaper.
