Elaine Samuel Print E-mail
Elaine Samuel is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social and Political Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests have focused on court procedures and access to justice issues. She evaluated the first in-court advisor project in Scotland, Glasgow’s commercial court and, most recently, the introduction of a new procedure for personal injury actions in the Court of Session. Elaine was a researcher on the team assisting Lord Bonomy in his review of the High Court of Justiciary and is presently a member of the team assisting Lord Gill and his Board in the Civil Courts Review.
