 Tom was appointed as the Chief Executive of the Clyde Valley Group in October 2005, which is the largest social housing provider and developer in Lanarkshire.
Prior to that Tom was based with Cunninghame Housing Association where he was Head of Housing and Community Services. In 1993, Tom was introduced to Social Housing when he joined the then Springburn and Possilpark Housing Association (now North Glasgow Housing Association), where he gained early experience within the sector as part of an expanding development team. Prior to that, Tom worked in the construction industry as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, with experience both in private practice and contracting.
Tom graduated from Caledonian University with a BSC in Quantity Surveying and from the University of Glasgow Business School with a Masters in Business Administration (with Distinction). He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
