Andy joined Barkers in 2007 as Head of Social Marketing. He is currently working on a diverse range of projects covering childhood obesity; smoking cessation, diversionary activities for young people, race, breast feeding, natural heritage, education and mental health.
Prior to joining Barkers he was the strategic leader for the ‘Vote Scotland’ campaign for the May 2007 elections to the Scottish Parliament and Local Councils and for the 'see me' mental health national anti-stigma campaign.
A former academic, Andy has extensive experience of working on social issues and of developing and evaluating community-based regeneration and social inclusion strategies. He has drawn on this experience to build innovative community development styles of working for the social marketing sector.
