Previously, she was Chief Executive of the Scottish Cot Death Trust but is best known for her work as Project Manager of the award winning West of Scotland Cancer Awareness Project - the £1.3 million Big Lottery Funded Cancer Project, which used a fully integrated social marketing approach to develop two public awareness campaigns on mouth and bowel cancer.
During 16 years with the NHS she successfully used social marketing techniques on a variety of high profile initiatives including the development of smoking cessation services in Glasgow, promotion of breast screening and active commuting.
