Richard Moorhead is Deputy Head of School and Director of Research in the Cardiff Law School. His main interests are legal aid, the legal profession, regulation of professions and legal systems and socio-legal research methods.
He has conducted a number of evaluations of legal service programmes as well as theoretically informed empirical research into the courts and the legal profession.
He is a member of the Legal Services Consultative Panel (formerly ACLEC) which advises the Lord Chancellor on issues of professional ethics and conduct, a board member of the Journal of Law and Society and an editorial advisory board member of The International Journal of the Legal Profession.
