Paul Cackette is Head of Civil Justice, Law Reform & International Division, Justice Directorate, within the Scottish Government.
He is a member of the Reference Group of the Civil Courts Review.
As part of his Division, he has responsibility within the Government for the procedural operation of the Civil Justice system and for various areas of civil law reform. He also has responsibility for policy on tribunals and ADR and co-ordinates the Justice portfolios of the Justice and Home Affairs Council of the EU.
Paul is a solicitor, on secondment to Justice Directorate.
