tavishscott.jpgTavish Scott has been MSP for Shetland since 1999 and was Minister for Transport in the last Scottish Executive. He has been Convener of the Economy, Energy & Tourism Committee since June 2007.

He was Deputy Minister for Finance, Public Services and Parliamentary Business from May 2003 to June 2005 and has been Convener of the Scottish Liberal Democrats since 2003.

Tavish also managed the family farm from 1990 to 2000 and in 1989 attended Napier College, Edinburgh, gaining a BA (Hons) in Business Studies. He has three children and likes golf, Up Helly Aa and cinema.
