 Fiona is Director of Audit Services in Audit Scotland for the health and central government sectors. She is responsible for a team of 70 staff who work on the annual audit of around 40 central government clients, including the Scottish Government, and 13 health bodies. Fiona has worked with Audit Scotland, and its predecessor the Accounts Commission, since she joined as a trainee in 1987. She qualified as an accountant with CIPFA in 1989. Prior to that she was a finance trainee in the health service and graduated from Aberdeen University in 1985 with a degree in history and sociology’.
