 Fiona Killen is a Partner and Head of Anderson Strathern’s Parliamentary and Public Law Unit (PPL Unit). She is involved in providing a full range of parliamentary and public law services to public and private sector clients. She has specialist knowledge of parliamentary procedures and standards, public law, private bills, legislative drafting, freedom of information, public sector regulation and statutory interpretation.
She has advised public authorities and applicants in relation to requests, reviews and appeals under FOISA and is currently instructed in a statutory FOISA appeal in the Court of Session. She has recently produced comparative material on concepts in information rights for the University of Dundee's MSc in Records Management and Information Rights.
