briancurrie.jpgBrian Currie has been Political Editor at the Evening Times, Scotland’s biggest-selling evening newspaper, for the last seven years.

Previously he worked for the BBC for almost 25 years starting with the corporation in Radio News in London before returning to Scotland.
He was editor of the political programme Left, Right and Centre and produced Reporting Scotland including the edition which won the prestigious Royal Television Society award for best UK regional news programme.

He also ran BBC Scotland’s outside broadcast coverage of political party conferences for many years, produced Network programmes including the popular Garden Party and sports coverage including Sportscene.
