rachelcackett.jpgRachel has worked as WRVS’ Media & Public Affairs Manager in Scotland since 2005 and was closely involved in the development of the adult provisions of the PVG Act. She is a member of the Scottish Government’s PVG Voluntary Issues Group and was part of the SCVO coalition which lobbied on this Bill.

Before joining WRVS, Rachel was Scottish Campaign Manager for Shelter. Previous to this, she worked as an arts producer and programmer in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Brighton.

On 24 October, Rachel will join the Royal College of Nursing in Scotland as a Policy Advisor.
