Lynn has 20 years’ experience as an educational psychologist working in local authority Psychological Services. After a period as Principal Psychologist, she moved into the Education Directorate in West Dunbartonshire.
In her current post as Head of Service Lynn has strategic responsibility for Early Years education and Pupil Support services. Within Community Planning she chairs the Youth Employability Group which has responsibility for the NEET Action Plan.
As the Educational Services lead on Child Protection and integrated children’s services planning, she has considerable experience working with other services and partner agencies delivering a range of services to children and vulnerable adults. She is part of the Council’s corporate Safer Recruitment Group and as the representative of the Association of Directors of Education in Scotland (ADES) Lynn gave evidence during the committee stages of the PVG Bill.
She sits on national working groups developing policy on Corporate Parenting and Young Runaways.
