Phil Taylor, Regional Director, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Borders and Immigration Agency
Phil Taylor was born and brought up in Glasgow. He joined the Home Office as an Immigration Officer at Dover and after working in London, Heathrow, Bangladesh and at the Border & Immigration Agency HQ in Croydon he was appointed as the first Regional Director for the Agency in April 2006 covering Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has direct line management for all of the Agency’s business in Scotland, except for the operation of the Border Control. He is married and has a degree in law from London University and a Masters in Business Administration from Imperial College, London.
