Holyrood conferences - why they work for you Print E-mail
  • We have one of the best research and development teams in the UK, with an unrivalled knowledge and experience of government, parliament and other public institutions. We work with supporting organisations and sponsors to develop incisive, thoroughly researched and timely programmes.
  • Electronic voting We recruit the best speakers from across the world, each on an authority in their field, from leading politicians and Government Ministers to directors of charities, renowned academics and senior business people.
  • We attract delegates from across Scotland’s public and third sector, and from further afield and provide them with a neutral, and trusted, forum for learning and networking. They also get the opportunity to feed into the national policy debate at the highest level.
  • We use the latest electronic tools to maximize interaction between delegates and speakers. Our polling and messaging systems generate instant feedback, identify those issues most important to delegates and gather crucial information which inform our post-conference reports.
  • Our web-based e-community tools, including conference notice boards, mean that even if you can’t attend the conference, you can contribute to the discussion.
  • Our bespoke post conference reports include speakers’ presentations, polling data and delegates’ list. The following edition of Holyrood magazine carries a conference report from two to eight pages, and each delegate receive s a free subscription to our daily Holyrood news service and access to the electronic version of the magazine. Our reports can also be published in a “statutory instrument” formal style or as a full transcript.
  • We invest heavily in our conferences, with the best speakers, sets and AV, as well as the latest interactive tools, bespoke post conference reports. But we want to ensure that our audiences are fully representative of Scottish civic life, so our rates are very competitive and fairly structured.
