bort.jpgEberhard ‘Paddy’ Bort, a graduate in English and German of Tübingen University, is the Academic Coordinator of the Institute of Governance and a Lecturer in Politics at the University of Edinburgh. His teaching has included Scottish Society and Culture, Contemporary Irish Politics and British Studies. He is also Book Reviews Editor of Scottish Affairs.
He has published widely on Scottish Devolution and Constitutional Change in the UK, on Scotland in Europe, and Irish affairs. Recent publications include (with Malcolm Anderson) The Frontiers of the European Union (Palgrave Macmillan 2001) and Commemorating Ireland: The History, Culture and Politics of Commemoration (Irish Academic Press 2004).
