 Chanel Bikorimana has a background in Statistics, Project Management and Entrepreneurship and worked for 13 years in the Planning and Statistics Department at the University Hospital of Bujumbura, Burundi as well as owning and running a rice processing factory.
Chanel came to Glasgow in September 2002 to settle and was granted leave to remain. Previously, he has worked as an Integration Project Worker for Castlemilk Community Forum and as a corporate planner for Caledonian University.
In August 2005, he joined Business Gateway Glasgow as Project Coordinator; to manage the Integration Through Enterprise programme designed to help and support new citizens to create their own businesses.
