 Allana Parker is Communications Manager for Epilepsy Scotland. On behalf of the UK and Ireland’s Joint Epilepsy Council (JEC), she provides the secretariat to the Scottish Parliament’s Cross-Party Group on Epilepsy. Consistently the largest Group which nearly 80 MSPs have joined since 2000. Many have gone on to hold ministerial office, knowing that the Group raises parliamentary awareness of the varied needs of 40,000 Scots with epilepsy.
A JEC board member (2002-2005), previously PR Officer with Energy Action Scotland and a former local government officer for 19 years, Allana’s university honours degree in english and politics matches her current role.
