 Andrew Jackson is currently Acting Policy Manager at the SCVO and has joint responsibility for maintaining a strategic overview of SCVO's policy work.
Andrew works to ensure that the Scottish voluntary sector’s views are represented and accounted for when public policy is made and he assists the sector to work in partnership with others, such as the Scottish Executive and Scottish Parliament, to achieve this. He also supports the sector to understand the implications of policies and to take account of them in their everyday activities.
Andrew carried out extensive work during the passage of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and leads on SCVO's policy work in this area.
