Sue Brace is Convenor of the ADSW Standing Committee for Community Care

Sue has been Head of Strategic Planning & Commissioning for the City of Edinburgh Council’s joint Health & Social Care Department since 2005, and was previously Head of Planning & Commissioning for the Council’s predecessor Social Work Department from 1996 to 2005. Between 1984 and 1996 Sue held management and planning posts relating to older people’s services, having started her career as an area-based Social Worker

Sue has a career-long commitment to partnership working between social care and health services, particularly in community care.
